What you should know

  1. All positions are for product development teams. We create and build stuff, so there is a good chance you would be working on end to end stories, exploring opportunities in technologies spread across the full stack.
  2. You will earn a designation as per industry standards & the job profile at Caizin. But we never limit you to what is defined on paper. Feel free to try your hand wherever you think you could add value.
  3. All team members co-own the design and architecture of the product – the only difference is in the expertise & experience in creating & innovating solutions and consciously exercising best practices, that all team members get to the table.
  4. A team is a cohesive, synchronous unit that must run the sprint together in order to achieve substantial outcomes. Helping each other maintain the pace of development is part of regular routine of everyone’s job. We all learn from each other irrespective of the years of experience we bring into the team.

What do our interviews feel like

  1. First & the foremost, we have immense gratitude for the time you will be giving us through the interview process. We try and keep it short, precise and to the point, not exceeding 30 minutes per discussion, so that we stay focused and stay efficient. We try and have a decision within 3 to 4 rounds, and have stretched on very rare occasions.
  2. All our interviews are structured to be discussions as if you were already the part of our team. The problem statements which will be discussed will be very close to the ones we experience and solve in our current product development
  3. We will be curious to know how strong are your fundamentals though you may have gained master expertise in modern day frameworks. We believe that if the core of technical understanding is strong, it is much easy to adapt and write good code that is scalable, secure & clean.
  4. We would share our product details, current challenges, recent happenings which have inspired & motivated us to write great code and would like it if you could share your experiences as well. Since we are a products shop, we truly appreciate and respect product mindset, and believe that every developer is also a business owner in a sense. Alignment with user expectations is crucial for doing the right thing, and doing it right.
  5. We are absolutely cognizant of the fact that the evaluation happens both ways. We prefer not to be deemed as “interviewers” because landing the right job and landing the right team member is an equal responsibility of both parties involved in the discussion. We would love it if you could ask us as many questions as you can think of, to ensure you leave no room for doubt.
